Mr. John A. Fortunato passed away at RWJ on Tuesday, Sept. 10th, 2013 with his loving family at his side. John was a machinist and maintenance mechanic for 40 years. He worked over the years for Somerset Technologies, 3M, Belle Meade Corepharma Pharmaceuticals, Home Depot, and most recently at Taylor Forge Stainless. John served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970 during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed Sunday afternoons with the kids watching Giants games and NASCAR events. He loved time spent in Mystic Island on the water with the Noonans. He will be missed.

John was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna Fortunato. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Pamela; his two sons, Justin and his wife, Caryn of Harmony, and Michael at home; and by his adoring daughter, Gena Marie of Stewartsville; by his brother, Steven and sister JoAnn of Arlington, TX; his two precious grandchildren, Anthony John and Kayla; and by his "second Mom" Barbara Gilbert of Somerset.
