John C. Beisser, 73, "Jack Hill" of Long Branch, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in New Brunswick and lived Highland Park before moving to Long Branch. He was an entertainer and played in the Jack Hill Trio playing along the eastern seaboard. He was a school bus driver for Laidlaw for 13 years before retiring.
He was predeceased by his wife, Peggy, in 1998; and his sons, John, in 1978, and Lewis, in 2011; and his parents, John and Ruth Beisser. Surviving are a son, James A. Beisser and a daughter, Janice R. Beisser Conover, both of Union Beach; daughter-in-law, Michelle Beisser; brother, James and his wife Jewel Beisser; 2 grandchildren, Austin and RJ, and nieces and nephews, and extended family, as well as his cat, Tiggerpooh.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the funeral home, followed by burial at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brusnwick. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
