Joseph Glancey Obituary
JOSEPH F. GLANCEY, JR.
AGE: 87 MIDDLESEX
Joseph F. Glancey Jr., 87, of Middlesex died Friday, July 9, 2010. He was the husband of the late Lois Glancey who died in 1982. Mr. Glancey was born in Hanover Township, NJ and has been a resident of Middlesex since 1959. He retired after 39 years as a machinist for JK Smit of New Providence and had worked concurrently at Oak Knoll School in Summit in the maintenance department. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corps at Fort Dix, NJ during WWII and worked at various construction projects throughout the United States from 1940 until 1942.
Surviving are his son, Bill Glancey Sr. and a daughter, Margerrete Seiler; a brother, William Glancey and 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be announced by his family at a later date.

joseph , known by lots as pop was a great man he wasn't really my pop but my children and i known him as that and he treated us like his family he will be truely be missed
