Anastasia,
Words cannot express how deeply sorry we are for you and your family. Joe was a wonderful man who touched many lives and made them better just for knowing him. We count ourselves among the lucky who got to spend time with such a genuinely good person. Our hearts go out to you and your family.

I am stunned and heartbroken. We shared so much over the years. Joe was and always will be, one of my dearest friends. My love to his wife, Anastasia and to his parents, Donna and Joe.

Maureen reached out to me this morning to tell me of your loss and of course there are no words. Both of you have had such an impact on my life, I feel there would be no time or emotional distance should we see each other today. Those East Chicago days are my only memory of Joey, I never knew him as a man but having 3 sons of my own, I can't imagine...Please accept my deepest expression of love and support.

I am so very sad to hear of Joe's untimely passing. Anastasia, Donna, and Joe, other family and friends, I am keeping you in my thoughts and sending you meta as you navigate these most difficult days. I was friends with Joe in high school and at Rutgers. I remember him very fondly as a most exceptional, beautiful human being. His humor and candor still make me smile. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Oh my gosh I am so sorry to hear about this! I never knew your son that well, but it is always tragic to lose someone close to you. My condolences! You both made a great impact on me and it saddens me so much to hear about your loss.

Joe and Donna, I don't know if you'll remember me from the Bettenbender/Cal College era, but I truly remember you both with fondness. Please accept my condolences for you loss. I know how much impact you had on my life, both as teachers and friends, and even though I didn't know your son, I'm sure your children benefited from that same positive creativity. One never knows what to say at moments like this, but know that you are in our thoughts. Pati (Miller) Manich
