Leonard Ruppi

AGE: 89 • Holiday City South

Leonard Ruppi, 89 of Holiday City South section of Berkeley Township, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Holiday Care Center, Berkeley Township, NJ. Leonard was born and raised in Paterson, NJ, moving to Holiday City South in 1991. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Later, Leonard worked for Raybestos in Paterson, NJ as a machinist for 33 years. While residing in Paterson, Leonard was a member of the Elks in Totowa, NJ.

Surviving is his loving wife of 40 years, Angela (Antonucci) Ruppi and many nieces and nephews. Leonard is preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers, John, Joseph and Pat Ruppi.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00pm with a 7:00pm prayer service at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. The graveside service and burial will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2013, 10:00am at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leonard's memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
