Maria Rosa Bollaci Cimino 63 of Manchester passed away Saturday, May 18th at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She worked for FMC as a Data Analyst for 15 years and then the Asbury Park Press for 10 years before retiring in 2000 to become a Stay-At-Home Grandmother. Born in Acque Dolci, Sicilia, Italy, she came to the United States when she was 5 years old. She resided in Carteret from 1955-1989 and then moved to Manchester Township. Maria was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking for her family and celebrating holidays especially Christmas as her favorite. She is predeceased by her father Benedetto Bollaci. Surviving are her husband of 23 years, Vincent P of Manchester, mother, Ada Bollaci of Carteret, 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Lori Ann Rice & Philip, Christina Marie Dambroski & Patric and Amy Lyn Post & Gary all of Manchester, and step-daughter, Marci Cimino of Seaside Park, 2 brothers, Fred Bollaci of Carteret and Frank Bollaci of Dayton, 3 sisters, Joanne Stabile of Scotch Plains, Anna Ferraro of Carteret and Elizabeth Galayda of Edison, many nieces and nephews, and 12 grandchildren who she loved with all her heart. Visitation is Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home. Funeral Service is Thursday 10 am with interment to follow at Brigadier General William C Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
