Patricia D. DeLisa, 90, of Wayside, Ocean Twp. passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her home. Mrs. DeLisa was born in New York City, and was raised in Oceanport. Mrs. DeLisa moved to Long Branch where she lived for many years before moving to Wayside in 1997. She was a parishioner of St. Michael's RC Church, Long Branch since 1950, where she sang for over 45 years in the Choir and was a Religious Education Teacher for many years. Pat was a trustee of the Long Branch Public Library and a member, Trustee and Secretary of the Elberon Voter and Property Owners Association. She sang for WEAF radio for various Big Bands and New York City night clubs. Later she became the office manager for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. Mrs. DeLisa was the great granddaughter of Rt. Rev. Horatio Southgate, a bishop of the Episcopal Church and a descendant of Noah Webster and a direct descendant of Anne Hutchinson, a co-founder with Roger William of the colony of Rhode Island.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph Peter DeLisa in 1995, whom she married in 1963; her brothers, Robert and Jerry Dynan and her step daughter, Jane Vela. Surviving is her son, Peter DeLisa of Wayside; four step sons, William, John, Joseph and Richard DeLisa; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Frank Witty of Andover, Ma: two granddaughters, Krista and Isabella; fifteen step grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, April 1st, 9 to 10:15 am at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch, followed by a funeral mass, 11 am at St. Michael's RC Church, Ocean Avenue, Long Branch.
