PETER JOSEPH BROWNE
AGE: 71 BRICK
Peter Joseph Browne, 71, of Brick, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday May 2, 2010. Born and raised in the Bronx, he lived in Hazlet before coming to Brick over 20 years ago. Peter was employed as a technical services representative with Abitibi Price, Inc. in New York City before retiring and was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and "Tin Can" sailor.
He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary Browne; brother, Jack and sister, Maureen. He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth Juergens Browne and daughter, Karen; his grandchildren, Zachary and Kayla LaBorde and son, Kevin; his sisters, Eileen Garvey and Mildred Wyszynski.
Relatives and friends will be received at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd. Brick, NJ on Sat. May 15 from 1-5 PM with a Memorial Service to be offered at 4:30 PM. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. 1 Union St., Ste 301 Robbinsville, NJ 08691. Dear Karen: I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your Father. It hits you very hard, even if you know it was for the best. He is at peace now, with my Dad Karen,flying with all of the angels!!!!
