Ralph C. Eaton, 50, of Spotswood, died on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital after a long fought illness.
Born in Somerville, Ralph was raised in Warren and lived in Plainfield and Piscataway before settling in Spotswood in 1999. He was employed as a rental agent and building manager for Hyde Park Village in Iselin. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood and, a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 293, Warren. Ralph enjoyed playing horseshoes, camping and he was an avid rock hunter and collector. He also loved spending time at his family's home in Wilmington, MA each summer. Most of all, Ralph cherished his time with his family and his children, who will miss him dearly.
Predeceased by his mother, Ilene (nee Myers), he is survived by his wife, Georgette of Spotswood; his children, Joanna and Andrew of Spotswood; his father, Everard of Warren; his brothers, Stewart of Indiana, Everard and his wife Sonja, also of Indiana, Bruce and his wife Mary of Pennsylvania and Darryl of North Carolina; his sisters, Audrey Renshaw and her husband Louis, of Jefferson and, Sandra Walsh and her husband Michael, of Massachusetts.
Funeral services will begin with a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:15 AM from Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Private cremation will follow. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Monday evening at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood.
