Robert N. Clayton, of Jamesburg, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was 61. Born in Pt. Pleasant, he lived in Jamesburg for the past several years. During Vietnam he served in the US Army. He had worked for Sales Support in Monroe. He was a member of the Jamesburg Antique Car Club and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Spotswood.
Robert is predeceased by his granddaughter Shelly Williams (d. 2002). Surviving is his wife Esther (Gallaher) Clayton; his daughter Denise Williams of Old Bridge; his son Eric Clayton of Granburry, TX; his brother Alfred; his sisters Barbara, Nancy and Dot; and 7 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, 11:00 am, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Spotswood. In lieu of flowers contribtuions may be made to the
