Robert Soriano
AGE: 68 • formerly of Fords
Robert Soriano, 68, husband of Johann Soriano and a resident of Pungoteague, VA, formerly of Fords, NJ, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 at his residence. He was the son of the late G. Thomas Soriano and the late Rose Marie DeAngelis Soriano. He volunteered at Fords Fire Department and became chief in 1989. He was self-employed as a courier before retiring to the Eastern Shore of Virginia. He was a former member of Our Lady of Peace in Fords and a member of the Exmore Moose Lodge #683.
Along with his wife of 50 years, he is survived by three children, Lisa, Diane, and Robert Soriano and one granddaughter, Megan Soriano, all of New Jersey.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at St. George's Episcopal Church in Pungoteague, VA with Reverend Cameron Randle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market St., Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417 or to St. George's Episcopal Church, Handicap Access Ramp Fund, P.O.
