SAHAAD "LOLLIE" H. MONROE-MCCOY
AGE: 25 PLAINFIELD
Sahaad "Lollie" H. Monroe-McCoy, 25, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. A life long resident of Plainfield, he attended the Plainfield Public Schools and also attended Lincoln Technical school in union where he was studying to be a mechanic. Sahaad was an exceptional artist known for his portraits. He was employed by the Plainfield Dept. of Recreation.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Isaac and Dorothy Monroe, and Mary McCoy; and his brother, Kenneth Allen McCoy. Survived by his mother, Elizabeth Monroe; parents, Paul & Tarnissha Sass-McCoy; daughter, Synai H. Monroe; brothers, Antwoine & Kamren McCoy, Michael and Kevin Monroe, Jabril Brewer, Richard Best; sisters, Ashley Grant McCoy, Alexus & Kamurah McCoy, Quayaniah Monroe, Tyneha Bradford; paternal grandfather, Charlie Boatwright; and fiancée, Ariel Staton.
Funeral service Friday, 1PM, Rose of Sharon Community Church, 825 W. 7th St., Plainfield. Friends may call at the church 11 AM until time of service.
