Theodore K. "Pete" Blodgett

AGE: 75 • Edison

Theodore K. "Pete" Blodgett 75, of Edison, entered into eternal rest Saturday December 8, 2012, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Perth Amboy and has resided in Edison for the past 30 years. Theodore was a foreman at Allied Chemical in Metuchen for 25 years, before retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #560 in Union City. An avid fisherman and classic car collector, the most important part of his life was spending time with his family.

Pete is predeceased by five brothers James D., Warren, Francis, Robert, and Howard. He is survived by his daughter Becky Blodgett and her husband Stephen Prokopiak of Jackson; his grandson Steven Dane Prokopiak; his companion Eileen Wans of Edison and step son Chester Wans Jr. of Guttenberg. He is also survived by his siblings Arnold of Iselin, Raymond of Port Reading, Albert of Colonia, Dorothy Lemley of Sayreville, Clara Bath of South Amboy, Edith Renowski of Avenel,, Alice Mandano of Toms River and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Interment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Visitation is Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
