I know I told part of this story before so I'll try and keep it short. Shortly after the Tri State Scale Model Car Club came into existence after an informal meeting was held in my backyard in Bayonne in September,1985 (Todd & his friend Bart Orlens came to that meeting and thus became charter members of the club).

Anyway the Movie "The Blue Brothers" at that same time started playing regularly on all the cable channels. And in one scene early in the movie, after when Elwood Blues pickup up his brother Jake who had just gotten out of Joliet Prison, Elwood goes back to his flop house where he'd been living. And in the 'day room' was the atypical assortment of bums, winos, the unemployed and other people who would live in a flop house. And one of those guys is sitting there playing cards, and as Elwood and Jake enter the room, he turned and said to Elwood "Did you pickup my Cheese Wiz Boy?' at which point Elwood takes out a can of Cheese Wiz and tosses it to the bum.
Well every time my club co-founder John Slivoski and I would walk into any of the early TSSMCC meetings, Todd would turn to John and say in the same accent as the bum in the movie "Did you pickup my Cheese Wiz Boy? and John would start laughing so hard he could have pee-ied in his pants.

To the Koncsol family and Tri-State Model Car Club,

On behalf of myself and MassCar, please accept our sincerest condolences on Todd's loss.

Although I did not know Todd personally that I can remember, I know that he and the rest of the Tri-State team worked very hard to make NNL-East not only a lot of fun, but truly a classy, well-run event that served as a credit to not only your club, but to each of you individually and to our hobby broadly speaking.

A sudden loss is never easy to cope with, but I sincerely hope that all of you find some sense of peace and hold diligently to the best of memories of Todd.

Todd, "did you remember to bring my Cheese Wiz boy?" A few of us from the club will know what that means. I'm going to miss you my friend, I always enjoyed your company, your sense of humor and your wit. You were also one hell of a model car builder. I didn't think I'd cry over this sad news, but I was wrong.
