Veronica A. Kutz, 63, of Manchester, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. She died at home in the company of her husband and mother. Veronica fought a long and courageous battle with cancer for 18 years, but was always known for her warm and genuine smile in the face of it all. Born in Decatur, IL, her family moved to Neptune in 1961. After earning a B.A. in French from Elizabethtown College, she was a teacher and guidance counselor at Central Jersey Christian School for many years. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her father, Harold E. Clanton and her twin sister, Monica. Surviving are her loving husband of 42 years, Lanny L. Kutz; her son, Timothy of Arlington, MA; her daughter, Amanda Boogaard and son-in-law, Andre of Longmont, CO; and grandchildren, Josh Kutz, M.E. Boogaard, and K.C. Boogaard. She also leaves her mother, Laura A. Clanton of Neptune; brothers, William and wife, Mary, and James and wife, Beth; sister, Pamela Baker and husband, Frank; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18 at Trinity Bible Church, 3801 Allenwood-Lakewood Road, Allenwood, followed immediately by a memorial service. Interment at Monmouth Memorial Park will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to MACSA Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 2007, Aston, PA 19014.
