AGE: 69 • Brick Twp.

Veronica B. (nee Quinn) Coyle, 69, of Brick Township passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center with her loving family by her side following a brief illness. Ronnie was born to Joseph and Margaret Quinn and was raised in the Parkchester section of the Bronx. She was a graduate of The Sacred Heart Academy, Bronx, NY. She was then trained as a pediatric nurse at the New York Foundling Hospital. Ronnie put her career on hold to get married, start her family, and move to the Jersey Shore. She was a life- long resident of Spring Lake Heights where she lovingly raised her two children. Ronnie was extremely proud of her Irish heritage. She was the long- time manager of the Irish Centre in Spring Lake and Annapolis, MD. Cead Mile Failte (a hundred thousand welcomes) is truly how she lived her life. Ronnie spent the last few years thoroughly enjoying herself at The Greenbriar Community in Brick. Ronnie had many close friends at the "Briar" and was known as the cruise director or unofficial and unelected Mayor. Ronnie was also very active in St. Dominic's Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister who administered to the sick at various local nursing homes on a weekly basis. Ronnie loved life and she loved people, but the thing that brought her the most joy was being Grammy to her four beautiful grandchildren.

Veronica was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret, her sister Margaret and her brother Paddy. She is survived by her loving children, Bill and his wife Melisa of Wall, and Kathleen Gifford and her husband Earl of Ocean. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren, Brendan, Caitlyn and Declan. Slan Go Foill Grammy (goodbye for now).

A memorial service will be held at St. Dominic's Church, 250 Old Squan Road, Brick, NJ on Thursday, July, 18, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the New Jersey Sharing Network, 691 Central Avenue, New Providence, New Jersey, 07974.
