Willie Hurdle Obituary
Plainfield
Willie C. Hurdle passed Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Hobbsville, NC he has been a resident of Plainfield for 57 yrs. Mr. Hurlde was employed as a relief man for GM, 28 yrs. and was the owner operator of "Moon Face" Bar and Liquors in Plainfield. He was also a veteran of the US Army.
Predeceased by his wife, Bertha; daughter, Willa Hagan; parents, Henry & Claudine Hurdle; brothers, Harold & Walter Barnett; sisters, Sarah Hoffler, Elizabeth Beckett, Gloria Elder, and Emma Dorsey, he is survived by daughters, Sarah Walton, Sandra Taylor -Williams, Priscilla Scott, Diane Hagan, Tamiko Williams; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday 2/4/13 at the Rose of Sharon Community Church, 825 west 7th St., Plainfield. Visitation will be 3-5 PM Sunday 2/3/13 at the church. Arrangements by Judkins Colonial Home, condolences - www.judkinscolonialhome.com
