LEAH YARUS KRAMER
AGE: 86 FORMERLY OF WOODBRIDGE
Leah Yarus Kramer, 86, of Tinton Falls, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at home. Born in Wilmington, Del., she was a former resident of Woodbridge from 1960 to 2000. She was a stenographer for U.S. Federal Court, Philadelphia, Pa. She was a former member of Temple Beth Mordecai, Perth Amboy; former member of Congregation Shaarey Tifiloh, Perth Amboy; former member of Congregation Adeth Israel, Woodbridge; past president of Sisterhood at Adeth Israel; life member of Woodbridge Hadassah; charter member of B'Nai Brith, Metuchen; and current member of Temple Neve Shalom, Metuchen.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Bernard Kramer, in 1997; and two sisters, Ann F. Millman and Violet Weinstein. Surviving are a daughter, Andrea Joan Kramer of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Irvin Yarus of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 24 from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy. Burial will be in Beth Mordecai Cemetery, Perth Amboy. For directions or to send condolence messages, visit the funeralhome's website at www.flynnfuneral.com.
