ROSE MONELLI CAVALIERE
AGE: 96 NORTH PLAINFIELD
Rose Monelli Cavaliere, 96, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Mrs. Cavaliere was born in Plainfield and was a lifelong resident of North Plainfield. Rose retired from Tepper's Department Store formerly of Plainfield as a Saleswoman for more than 20 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Cavaliere in 1993. Surviving is a son, Robert and wife Jacquelin Cavaliere of Plainfield; a sister, Sue Berna of Staten Island. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Allison Cavaliere Hart and two great grandchildren, Erin and William Hart.
Services will start Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Scarpa Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph RC Church in North Plainfield. Burial will take place in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice JFK Medical Center Foundation, 80 James Street, Edison, NJ 08818-9972.
