William Yarow passed away at St. Peters Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014. He was 69 years old. Mr. Yarow was born in Nanticoke, Pa. to the late Julia (Petrilak) Yarosiewicz. In his younger years he lived in Kearny, NJ. He raised his son Jay, with his wife Clare in Hillsborough, NJ. He graduated from the College of New Jersey with a bachelors and a masters degree in elementary education. He worked for the Franklin Township Board of Education for over 30 years, where he taught 6th grade at Hillcrest Elementary School for the majority of his career. After retiring from teaching, he and his wife moved to Somerset, where they lived when they first married. He collected baseball cards and had an extensive collection. He was an avid tennis player, but loved all sports. William had a unique sense of humor and loved making witty comments.
William is survived by his loving wife, Clare (Skow) of 40 years; his son, Jay and his wife Kate of Maplewood, NJ.
