AGE: 101 • Hopelawn

Pauline C. Ciszewski, 101, of Hopelawn, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Ciszewski was born in Perth Amboy to the late John and the late Catherine Adamec Bilka and had lived the last thirty years in Hopelawn. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Parish - Holy Spirit Church, Perth Amboy and the Holy Spirit Senior's.

Mrs. Ciszewski was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin in 1978; one daughter, Joyce Lambertson in 1991; one granddaughter, Faye Hecht; three sisters, Helen, Frances and Julia; three brothers, John, Steve and Paul Bilka. She is survived by her son, James Ciszewski and his wife Phyllis of Fords; her daughter, Ruth Ciszewski of Hopelawn; two sisters, Eleanor Hrabik, Katherine Mehok; five grandchildren, Keith and his wife Geralyn Lambertson, Burk Lambertson, Scott and his wife Karon Lambertson, James and his wife Christie Ciszewski, and Kristen Ciszewski; nine great grandchildren, Jack, Olivia, Todd and Kendra Lambertson, Hayden Reese and Presley Ciszewski, Marc and Cole Hecht, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 9:30 am Mass in the Good Shepherd Parish - Holy Spirit Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Hopelawn. Visitation hours will be held Sunday from 2 - 6 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Meals on Wheels, 2 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge NJ 07095 or the St. Joseph's Convent, 3 St. Josephs Terrace, Woodbridge NJ 07095.
