Maria Manuela Ramos Patrick died Monday, February 17, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was 51. Born in the Azores Island of Terceira, she resided in South Africa before coming to the United States in 2002, settling in South River. Prior to her retirement in 2011, she was a security administrator with Moshe Aaron Yeshiva High School in South River for nine years. She was a communicant of St. Stephen Protomartyr RC Church, South River.
Surviving are her husband, Stephen J. Patrick; two daughters, Michelle and her husband Daniel Keggie of Durban, South Africa, and Natasha and her husband Nello Luis of Johannesburg, South Africa; her parents, Alberto Ramos of Portugal and Carolina Ramos of South River; a sister, Adel and her husband Angelo Olival of South River; and four granddaughters, Daniela, Michsa, Sahara and Gia.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephen's Church, South River. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
