AGE: 91 • North Brunswick

Angie Hart, 91, of North Brunswick passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at RWJ Medical Center in New Brunswick with her loving family by her side. One of 12 children, Angie was born in Anita, Pa. on November 17, 1922. Angie and her family moved to New Brunswick in 1932.

Angie began her long & successful career with Johnson & Johnson in June of 1941. She was employed by J& J for 43 years and was promoted regularly ending as a supervisor in the Advertising Mailroom Department at ESDP. She was a very dedicated employee who rarely missed a day of work. Upon her retirement in 1985 and in her own words, "I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of my years at J&J. In addition, to enjoying my family, I love to travel. I've already been to Europe and am looking forward to seeing the rest of the world". After retiring, Angie was very active, enjoying bingo, scrabble & also arranging the monthly AC bus trips for many years. She was a member of the North Brunswick Senior Citizens. Angie was a beautiful, gracious, strong and guiding force in all of our lives.

Angie was the beloved wife of Leo J. Hart who passed away on March 10, 1970. Angie is also predeceased by her parents, Albert & Lena Previte, daughter, Joanne, granddaughter, Shannon, brothers, Joe, Chuck, John & Peter Previte, sisters, Nettie Bongiovi, Rose Kikoski & Mary Tarjani. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Patricia Bello & husband, Gary, sons, Robert Hart and his wife, Renee & William and his wife, Debra. Surviving are her sisters, Genevieve Carey of Winter Haven, Florida, Catherine Salvetti of Freehold and brothers Anthony of North Brunswick & Albert of Monroe Township.

Angie will be missed forever by many. Known as Granny, she will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Jason Frey, Sean, Ryan, Kevin, Robert, Allison and Kelly Hart and her seven great-grandchildren. She also will be missed by many nieces & nephews as well as the extended families of Valerie Cannan, Diane Buckalew & Donna Haydu and many friends. God only takes the very best.

Visitation will be held at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ, 08873 on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday at 8:30 am at Gleason Funeral Home, followed by a 10:00 am funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, 56 Throop Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901. In lieu of flowers and for those that desire, contributions in Joanne's memory may be made to the .
