Eleanor T. (Bogdon) Ostraszewski died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Falmouth by the Sea in Falmouth, Maine. She was 85. Born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, she had lived in North Brunswick for many years before moving to Maine in 2006. She had worked as a secretary for the United States Postal Service in New Brunswick and Edison for 20 years before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Ostraszewski was a communicant of Holy Martyrs R.C. Church in Falmouth and was a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace R. C. Church in North Brunswick.

Her husband, Felix J. Ostraszewski died in 1981. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Anderson and her husband Ted of Hubbardsville, New York, and Cathy Stein and her husband Randy of Falmouth, ME; a son, David Ostraszewski and his wife Tamara of Asbury Park, NJ; and six grandchildren, Nicole R. Anderson, Jonathan E. Stein, Rachel D. Stein, Nicole E. Ostraszewski, Matthew R. Ostraszewski, and Kyle A. Ostraszewski who with fiancée Jackie Eiser had Eleanor's first great-granddaughter, Gianna. Eleanor is also survived by her sister, Anne Supczenski; her dear friend, Josephine Farnan of Rogers, AR; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Eleanor's family is appreciative of the skilled nursing and rehabilitation services she received during the past three years at Falmouth by the Sea. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Eleanor's memory to the , PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13320-3049, or at www.heart.org/donate. Funeral services will be 9:15 AM on Friday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ, followed by a 10:00 AM. Mass at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, 277 Washington Place, North Brunswick. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
