AGE: 88 • Barnegat

Eugenia Myslinski (nee Nordling), 88, of Barnegat, passed peacefully at home Wednesday, March 19, 2014, with her husband, Edward, at her side. Born in 1926 in South Amboy, Jeanne, as she was known, was one of five children born to Victor and Cecilia Nordling. Jeanne is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 64 years, Edward Myslinski. Together they spent their lives traveling, planning wonderful vacations, parties and picnics for their many family members and friends while helping to raise their twenty-nine caring and cherished nieces and nephews throughout the years providing love, attention and support whenever needed.

Jeanne retired in 1982 as a laboratory supervisor for Cheeseborough Ponds, Perth Amboy, after 38 years of service to the company. She also served as a volunteer at Roosevelt Hospital from 1982 until 1996 while residing in Edison. As a resident of Barnegat, Jeanne volunteered at the office of All Saints Regional School, and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, where she served as an Adorer of The Eucharist at the Chapel.

Jeanne leaves behind her sister, Claire Jacques; her sisters-in-law, Marie Nordling of Sayreville, Ann Myslinski of Woodbridge, and Irene Osipovitch of Landisville, PA. In addition she leaves her nephews, Joseph Sabatino, John Jacques, Robert Jacques, Michael Nordling, Robert Nordling, William Nordling, John Carroll, Steven Martiak, Wayne Martiak; her nieces who so adored her, Angela Lambert, Alisa D'Lauro, Maria Casserly, Cecile Sabatino, Susan Samson, Joan Scheerer, Christine Tomalin, Bernadine Robbins, Francine Lusaitis, Nora Heyer, Jeanne Carroll, MaryJane Myslinski-Vicari, Lorraine Prandy, Maureen Pecht, Mary K. Nordling-Christie and Kathleen Post. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Nordling; her sisters, Joan Carroll and Mary (Sis) Sabatino and nephew, Eric Nordling.

Viewing from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, March 21 at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22 at St. Mary of The Pines Church, Manahawkin. Cremation private.
