AGE: 79 • Quincy, PA, formerly of Old Bridge

Charles Howard Koch, 79, of Quincy, PA, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at home.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, Chuck lived in Old Bridge for many years, and also in Jackson, before settling in Quincy in 2011. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a self employed general contractor for many years before retiring in 2001. Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and also enjoyed salt-water fishing, golf, trips to Atlantic City and old movies. He was also a former member of the Church of God in Monroe Twp.

Predeceased by his wife, Rose, in 2011, he is survived by his children, Cheryl Estelle and her husband Charles, of Chambersburg, PA, Charles Koch and his wife Eileen, of Old Bridge and Michael Koch of Old Bridge; his brother, Eugene Koch of Hopewell, and; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM Wednesday morning from Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
