James W. Calandriello, Jr, 65, of Sayreville passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at University Hospital in Newark. James was born in Jersey City before moving to Sayreville 27 years ago. James received his bachelor's degree from St. Peters College in Jersey City and went to work as a buyer for Simms Metal Management in Newark for over 47 years.
He is predeceased by his parents James and Josephine Calandriello and his sister Jeanne Corvo. James is survived by his loving wife Marilyn (McCullough) Calandriello, his son James and his wife Lauren, his three daughters, Darlene and her husband Michael Restaino, Gina Marie, Gina Roma, his grandchildren Devin Calandriello, Michael Restaino, Alessandra Calandriello and Nico Calandriello, his brother Leonard and his wife Vickie Calandriello, his sister Marie Nadratowski, his aunt Gloria Lovero, his son-in-law Devin and many loving nieces and nephews. James was a wonderful and caring man who will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, followed by a 9am Mass at Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church, Main Street, Sayreville. Burial will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Sayreville. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday 7pm to 9pm and Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
