Enis M. Settimo Zaccaria died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Golden Living Care Center, Old Bridge. She was 84. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she resided in South River for the past several years. Prior to her retirement, she was a salesperson at Macy's in East Brunswick for 30 years. She attended Hunter College, and was a member of the South River Office on Aging; she was a former member of the Imperial Music Center. She and her husband loved to travel by train, and by their favorite ship, the QE2. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi RC Church, South River.
Surviving are her husband, Carmen; two sons, Joseph and his wife Linda Zaccaria of Burlington, and James and his wife Linda Zaccaria of East Brunswick; two daughters, Sandra and her husband Harry Sassaman of South River, and Victoria and her husband Thomas Thompson of Browns Mills; two brothers, Ernest and his wife Claire Settimo of Old Bridge, and Richard and his wife Lorraine Settimo of Barboursville, VA; a sister, Margaret Galderese of Old Bridge; and nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Megan (Danny), Thomas, Michael, Jamie, Michelle, Joseph, James, and Christopher; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 8:00 AM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
