FELDMAN
AGE: 80 MONROE
Isadore "Ray" Feldman, 90, of Monroe, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Chicago, Ill., Mr. Feldman had resided in Edison for over 40 years before moving to Monroe in 1996. He had been employed as a senior citizen bus driver for many years. Mr. Feldman was a charter member and former president of the Edison Township "Jets" Pop Warner football team. He was an active golfer and bowler in the Rossmoor Development leagues.
Son of the late Samuel and Sarah (Schwartz) Feldman, he was also predeceased by his wife, Fay, in 1996. Surviving are his sons, Steven of Monroe, and Fred of Jacksonville, Fla.; his daughter, Peggy Kreiser of Edison; his brother, William of Chicago, Ill.; his close friend, Lois Cohen of Highland Park; his grandchildren, Ryan and Lindsey, Jordan, Robyn, and Stacey; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 at the Congregation Children of Israel Cemetery, South Plainfield. Arrangements are by the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick.

I was fortunate to know "Ray" from the Rossmoor Jewish Congregation and the Rossmoor Gym. Ray was a great guy to talk to and knowing his various ailments, he never complained and always had a smile for everyone. May he rest in eternal peace.
