Olga Ferretti, 87, of Sea Girt, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Care One at Wall. Born in Raritan, she has resided here for 35 years. Miss Ferretti was a registered nurse and the evening supervisor at University Hospital, New York, and later became the executive secretary to General Robert Wood Johnson of Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick. A communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, she was a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society and the Rosary Makers group. Miss Ferretti also did volunteer work at the Ocean Medical Center, Brick.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Victoria Conti Ferretti; and her sisters, Mary Vescovi and Anne Roche. She is survived by three sisters, Esther Yurth of Boulder, Colo., Rose Martz of Neptune, and Lucy Cox of Oak Ridge; 10 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; and her loving caregiver of seven years, Maria Fedorii.
Calling hours will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7 at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Sea Girt. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater.
