AGE: 107½ FORMERLY OF EATONTOWN
Alfreda Holmgren, 107 1/2, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Boynton Healthcare Center, Boynton Beach, Fla. She was born in Long Branch and had lived in Eatontown for 106 years prior to moving to Lake Worth, Fla., where she lived with her daughter, Lois DeVito. She was a member of the Daughters of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Alfreda is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Floyd Holmgren, who passed away in 1970; her sons, Robert and Frank Holmgren; her daughter-in-law, Teresa; her son in law, Larry; grandson, Craig; and her sisters, Josephine Chance and Frances Martin. Surviving are her daughters, Alice Charlton of CA, and Lois DeVito of Lake Worth, Fla.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and seven great- great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to a visitation from noon Wednesday, June 16 until the funeral services at 1 p.m. at Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad St., Eatontown. Interment to follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Alfreda's name to the Molly Pitcher Chapter 198 OES, 238 Stillwells Corner, Freehold, NJ 07728.
