AGE: 88 FORMERLY OF NEW BRUNSWICK
Kathleen Kormondi Remlinger, 86, of Manville, died Monday morning, Aug. 30, 2010, at her residence. Born in Pittock, Pa., Mrs. Remlinger grew up in New Brunswick and had been a resident of Manville for the past 40 years. She had been employed as a lineworker for Ethicon Corp., Bridgewater for 45 years before retiring 21 years ago. She was a member of the Ethicon 25 Year Club. Mrs. Remlinger was a longtime member of the Manville Reformed Church and the Church Ladies Aid Society. Mrs. Remlinger was an avid animal lover, who lavished and received a lot of affection from her two dogs, "Napper and Gizzi." She also enjoyed gardening and flower arranging, as well as spending time with her family.
Daughter of the late John and Julia Kormondi, she was also predeceased by her beloved husband, George, in 1990; and her siblings, Julia Kormondi, John Kormondi, Elizabeth Bauer, Joseph Kormondy, Sophie Mozgai, and Esther M. Kormondi. Surviving are her nieces, Sarah Mozgai of New Brunswick, Sandra Bardar of Piscataway, Susan Whitenight of Manville, and Patricia Pate of Freeport, Fla.; and her nephew, Joseph Bauer of Richmond, Ky.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2 at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at the funeral home, with Pastor Peter Mauer of the Manville Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, New Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to the Manville Reformed Church, 235 South Sixth Ave., Manville, NJ 08835.
