EVELYN L. HEMSLEY
AGE: 99 TOMS RIVER
Evelyn L. Hemsley, 99, of Toms River, passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at Laurelton Village, Brick. Evelyn was born in Newark and resided in West Orange and Kearny before moving to Toms River in 1967. Evelyn was a secretary for Borges and Borges in Kearny. After her retirement, she was a member of the Women's Club and Bowling League both of Holiday City at Silverton.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Hemsley, who died in 1978. Also predeceasing Evelyn was her brother, Eugene Lauterbach and sister, Anne Lynch. Surviving are her son, Joel Hemsley; daughter, Judy Salzman; her brother, Raymond Lauterbach; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of the arrangements.
