AGE: 47 MANALAPAN
Robert Leight died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 47. Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Old Bridge before moving to Manalapan eight years ago. He was an attorney with Gill & Chamas in Woodbridge for the past 10 years. He graduated from Rider University in 1987, and earned his law degree from Quinnipiac University in 1998. He played rugby during law school, and was an avid golfer and fan of poetry and music. He was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, Old Bridge.
Surviving are his wife, Rachael Indiero Leight; two sons, Robert and Dylan, both at home; five brothers, John of Edison, Joseph of Jackson, James of Freehold, Scott of Old Bridge, and Jeffrey of Atlantic Highlands; three sisters, Alice of Millstone, Ann Dultz of Jackson, and Kathy Thoresen of Colts Neck.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 AM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9.
