AGE: 82 MANALAPAN
Joseph Glebocki, 82, passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 at Deborah Heart & Lung Center. He was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States many years ago. He resided in Perth Amboy before moving to Manalapan. Member of St. Stephen's Church in Perth Amboy, St Thomas More Church in Manalapan and Our Lady of Czestochowa, Pa. He was a loving, wonderful father who spent his proudest moments with his family. He retired after 18 years of work at the General Motors in Clark. Survivor of World War II/ Royal Army Reserve and a Siberian Work Camp where he lost his father and sister to hunger.
Predeceased by his parents, Josef Glebocki and Maria Kalista. Surviving are his wife, Bernice Glebocki of 49 years of Manalapan NJ; two sons, Richard Glebocki of New Jersey and Joseph Gleboski Jr. and his wife, Lori of Maryland; a daughter, Christine Adragna and husband, Jack of Middletown, Pa.; a brother, Alex Glebocki of Florida; two sisters, Jadwiga Hain and Maria Sierakowski of Perth Amboy and six grandchildren, Richard, Michael, Christopher, James, Cameron and Addison.
Visitation hours will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Friday from Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State St. Perth Amboy, followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Stephen's Church. Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa, Doylestown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to: Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Rd., Doylestown, Pa.
