Lucille T. Coyne Obituary
Lucille T. Coyne, 85, of Neptune, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at home. She was born in Spring Lake Heights and has lived in the shore area all of her life. Lucille graduated St. Rose High School in 1943 and attended the Ann May School of Nursing. After raising her family, she returned to work in the medical field at Jersey Shore University Medical Center as a Nursing Unit Secretary, retiring in 1983. Lucille was a communicant of the Church of the Ascension, Bradley Beach. She was an avid N.Y. Mets fan, loved Frank Sinatra's music, Robert Mitchum movies, and her annual trips to Las Vegas. She also enjoyed many years of her retirement in North Carolina with her husband, John.

Lucille was predeceased by her son-in-law, Thomas Dunak. She is survived by her loving husband, John C. Coyne of Neptune; her children, Michael Coyne and his significant other Dorothy Klosowski of Manhattan, N.Y., Susan Paul of Manchester, Robert Coyne and his wife Janet Cichocki of Wall, Carol Dunak and her significant other Robert Calabrese of Neptune City, and Peter Coyne of Easton, Pa.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Doris Rowland and her husband Duane of Staten Island, N.Y.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20 at the Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Highway 33, Neptune. A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21 at the Church of the Ascension, Bradley Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
