William J. Mueller, Jr., 54, of Brick, passed away on November 25th 2011. Born in Newark he was a former resident of Hazlet before moving to Brick 25 years ago. Bill was a Warehouseman for A&P Distribution in Edison for 30 years and a proud Teamster of Local #863 of Mountainside. He was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan who enjoyed gardening and playing golf. Mr. Mueller was a loving father who enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his children.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 18 years, Karen Funicelli Mueller, his cherished children, William "Billy" Mueller, III, Joseph Mueller, and Emily Mueller, his loving parents William Sr. and Rose Mueller of Hazlet, his dear siblings, brother Richard Mueller and wife Ann of Union Beach, sister Suzanne Mueller of Keyport, his in-laws, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, all of whom will never forget Bill and the positive influence he had on their lives.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00PM at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 29th at 11:00AM at St. Peter's R.C. Church, Point Pleasant; interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park.
