James Pallitto, Jr., of the Avenel section, of Woodbridge Township, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was 56 years old. Born in Newark; He resided in Avenel for the past 26 years. Mr. Pallitto was Truck Driver with Teamsters Local #641 in Union, NJ. He was employed with New Penn Trucking in Mercerville for the past 10 years; he was a singer and guitarist with the band Seven Stone. He was a communicant of St. Andrews R.C. Church in Avenel.
He was predeceased by his parents James Pallitto, Sr. and Michaelina De Munno Pallitto; a brother Michael Pallitto. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Carol Ann Fakla Pallitto; three sons James Pallitto, III and his wife Paola of Iselin, Vincent Pallitto of Avenel, and Robert John Pallitto of Monmouth Beach; two sisters Laura Ianiro and husband Anthony of Brick, and Michele Fol and husband Edward of Clinton; a brother Rocco Pallitto and wife Cheryl of Toms River; three grandchildren Natalia Rose, Anthony James, and Dominic Joseph Pallitto; two sister in laws, Elaine Kobus and Rose Mary Barto, and brother-in-law John Fakla, as well as eleven nieces and nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews.
Funeral will take place Tues. 9:15a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.costelloKoyen.com) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. a 9:45a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel. Interment will be in Hazelwood Cemetery, Rahway. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m at the funeral home.
