Jack S. Milazzo

AGE: 87 • Edison

Jack S. Milazzo, 87, of Edison, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison. Mr. Milazzo was born in South Amboy to the late Salvatore and the late Tomasina Longo Milazzo and had previously lived in Perth Amboy before he moving to Edison fifty- three years ago. Mr. Milazzo was a US Navy Veteran of WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was employed by Chevron Oil State St. Perth Amboy NJ 08861 before retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Helena's Church, Edison, past member of the Edison F.A.S. #2, member and shop Steward with the Union of Operator Engineers local 825 and certified heavy equipment instructor for Dayton NJ training facility.

He was predeceased by a brother Joseph Milazzo and a sister Josephine Milazzo. He loved going to the beach, Atlantic City, being with his grandchildren and going to the Red Lobster.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Eleanor Julia Jogan Milazzo, three sons Jack B. Milazzo of Edison, Kevin S. Milazzo and his wife Mirna of Edison, Thomas J. Milazzo of Edison a sister Josephine Clement of Colts Neck, two Grandsons Samuel and Christopher. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:15 AM at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 10 AM Mass in the St. Helena's Church, Edison. Interment will follow in the Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation hours will be held Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
