Robert Miles Miller

AGE: 89 • Spotswood

Robert Miles Miller died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at home. He was 89. Born in Kingston, PA, he resided in North Arlington before moving to Spotswood 55 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1985, he was lead storeroom supervisor for Eastern Airlines, Newark, where he worked for 35 years. An Army Air Corps veteran, he served as an airplane mechanic during WWII from 1941 to 1946. He was a member of the CCC - Civilian Conservation Corp in Indiana Gap, PA; and was a former member of the VFW Post #4589, Spotswood.

Mr. Miller was predeceased by his wife Dorothy B. Jones Miller in 2007, and a granddaughter, Margaret Mary Miller. Surviving are his two sons, James Miller and his wife Maggie of Spotswood, and George Rasch II and his wife Barbara of Old Bridge; grandchildren: Katlin, Colleen, George (Rebecca) Rasch III, Nancy (Terry) Kitchen, Patti Ann (Danny) Bozza, and Andrew (Fiancée, Veronica Hernandez) Rasch; and great grandchildren: Nicole , Morgan, Lucy, George IV, Benjamin, Margaret, Lydia, Adeline and Isabella.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, 12:00 PM, at Franklin Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, East Brunswick.
