Glen Allen Minor Sr., 60, of the Parkertown section of Little Egg Harbor, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Glen worked very hard and was dedicated to his family and friends. He worked for Ocean County Engineering for the past 16 years and was a proud shop steward for CWA. He was an avid SCUBA diver and loved to travel. Glen enjoyed riding his Harley, going to the beach and spending summers in the pool with the grandkids. Glen was always there to help out and has been known to all as a "Jack of All Trades". He lived by the words "Persistence Beats Resistance". Glen was active in the Masonic Lodge and was a Past Master of Mariners Lodge #150 and was a Past Patron of the Tuckerton Chapter OES #54 and was a current member of Tuckerton Lodge #4.
He was predeceased by his father, Harold R Minor. Glen is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Elizabeth Minor; son, Glen Allen Minor Jr.; daughter, Jodi Lynn Grant and husband Pat; mother, Ethel M. Minor; sisters, Carol Dagnall and Judy A. Kushner; brothers, Ron Minor Sr. and Russell Minor Sr.; grandchildren, Clayton, Logan, Kassidy, Gaige and Stephanie, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
Viewing hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, with a Funeral Service at 3:30 p.m. and a Masonic Service at 8:30 p.m. at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor.
