Randy Matthew Leone, 27 years old, died unexpectedly in Jackson on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Randy was born May 28, 1985 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Randy lived in Naugatuck, CT for the first 13 years of his life. He attended the Hop Brook School for kindergarten, then went to the Western Elementary School. He attended and graduated from Salem Middle School in Naugatuck, CT before relocating to Jackson Twp. in the summer of 1999. He graduated from Jackson Memorial High School in 2003 where he was on the Jackson Jaguars Football Fist Champion Team for the

2000-2001 season and the second 2001-2002 season.

Randy had a zest for life that was undeniable and a love for his family that was never ending. He loved the New York Yankees and the New York Jets. He enjoyed playing sports with his brothers and friends so much he was a member of the Mogila Gorilla softball team.

Randy was a Jack of Many Trades. He was employed for a time as a welder by trade but also was going to restart his landscaping career with Good Mowin this month which was always his passion. Randy will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Randy is predeceased by his father, Ronald M. Leone of Jackson; and his paternal grandmother, Ann Leone. Randy leaves behind his mother, Rose Marie Leone of Ansonia, CT; his stepmom, Petra Leone of Jackson; his brothers, Ronald M. Leone Jr. of Manchester, Richard M. Leone of Freehold, and Joseph T. Leone of Jackson; his sister, Shakira Hope of Toms River; his paternal grandfather, Ronald V. Leone of Waterbury, CT; his nephews, Nico P. Leone and Steven Davis, along with his niece, Jada Hope, all of New Jersey; and by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Randy M. Leone Memorial American Youth Football Scholarship Fund, and would greatly be appreciated.
