Barbara Rose Goga

Barbara Rose Goga, 70, of Forked River is resting in the arms of Jesus since Friday, March 22, 2013. Born in Passaic, Barbara resided in Clifton for 60 years before moving to Forked River 10 years ago. A graduate of Clifton HS, she was employed as a receptionist for the Daughters of Miriam Center in Clifton for 12 years prior to her retirement in 2004. Previously, Barbara had been employed at New Jersey Bank in Clifton for 29 years and at Passaic General Hospital prior. She is a member of the Athenia Reformed Church in Clifton where she taught Sunday School for 17 years and sang in the church choir. Barbara also attended Calvary Temple AOG in Wayne and King of Kings Church in Manahawkin. She was a talented soloist who sang in many churches. Barbara sang like an angel on Earth and is now singing in the choir of angels in Heaven. She is a former member of Acquackanonk Grange # 183 in Clifton.
Barbara was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Eisenhauer) Goga, the best parents anyone could ever have. She is survived by two cousins, Joan White of Haskell and Lois Moro of Sierre Vista, AZ and her dear friend, Pastor Marie Stewart of Toms River.
Funeral services will be held 10AM Thursday at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Rd., Clifton, NJ 07012 followed by burial at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9PM. www.allwoodfuneralhome.com
