AGE: 92 • Sayreville

Charles T. Swiderski age 92 of Sayreville passed away peacefully on June 16, 2013 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Sayreville he was a life long borough resident.

Mr. Swiderski was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of World War II serving as an aerial photographer. Before his retirement in 1980 he was employed by E. I. Du Pont Photo Products as a research assistant for 40 years and was a member of the Du Pont 10 and 25 year clubs. Charles was co-owner of Movietronics Inc in Sayreville for 33 years, where he did 16 m/m filming and processing for many high schools in central Jersey as well as 2 years at Rutgers University. He was also employed part time for Freese Camera Shop in New Brunswick for 35 years. Mr. Swiderski was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville where he was and usher and collection counter for 30 years.

He is predeceased by his devoted and loving wife of 69 years Stella Gurgul Swiderski who died in2010, also by his sisters Jennie Garbosky and Stella Letts and his brothers Frank, William, Andrew, Stanley, Henry and Edward Swiderski. Surviving are his son and his wife Thomas & Carol Swiderski of Lexington, Ky., his grandchildren Megan Whalen and her husband David of Yorktown Heights, N.Y. and Adam Swiderski of New York City, his great grandchildren Julia, Emily and Ben Whalen, his niece and her husband Patricia & Joseph Brzozowski and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9 am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9:30 am mass at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 7 pm to 9 pm.
