Benjamin Seabury, 89, passed away at Willow Creek Care Center, Somerset, on Wednesday, August 7th, 2013. He was born in New Brunswick, and lived in New Brunswick, and then in Somerset for many years.
He served in the United States Army in World War II, first in Germany and then with the occupation forces in Japan. Mr. Seabury earned a BSC in pharmacy from Rutgers University in 1950. After joining the Air Force, he served as a pharmacist at Kinross Air Force Base in Michigan from 1951 through 1955. From 1955 until his retirement in 1988 Mr. Seabury worked as a Senior Research Associate at the RCA Research Laboratories in Princeton. His hobbies were painting, photography, and music.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jennie and Benjamin Szabary, and his sister Jennie Hode. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Leslie Hode of Arizona. Mr. Seabury will be buried at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery at 11 am on Tuesday August 27th.
