William "Bill" L. Hurley

William "Bill" L. Hurley, 51, of Cream Ridge, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, into the waiting and loving arms of God, free of pain. Bill was born in Morristown, and resided in Wall and Cream Ridge most of his life. Trucks were his passion. He was a diesel mechanic by trade. Those who knew and loved Bill will remember with great fondness his booming personality, devilish smile and big heart. Bill's presence was felt when he entered a room and will be sorely missed. His life was filled with many dreams of hope which he shared with all those who chose to listen.
His faith in God helped him find inner peace, providing his family solace knowing that he forever rests in the arms of angels.
Bill was predeceased by his beloved father, Austin "Larry" Hurley in 1999 who he admired tremendously. He is survived by his beautiful and loving daughter, Alexis Marie Hurley of Bayville; loving mother, June H. Hurley of Neptune; sister, Brenda Lee Cottrell and husband Richard of Shark River Hills; brothers, David S. Hurley, of York, SC; Christopher J. Hurley and wife Marilyn of York, SC and Lt. Stephen T. Hurley, USN and wife Junko of Bath, MA; loving caretaker, Sylvia Blackmore. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends whom he cherished.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at the Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Ave., Neptune. Services will be private.
