Susanne Chu, of Bradley Beach, and Avon, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at her home in Bradley Beach. She was 62 years old. Susanne worked as a ski instructor for over 25 years for the Vail, Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado. She was also a licensed Shiatsu massage therapist and worked in energy healing - Reiki. Susanne was born in New York City and split her time living in Avon, Colorado for the winters and enjoyed spending the summers at Bradley Beach, NJ. She touched many lives and will be sorely missed.
She is predeceased by her parents,Thomas and Frances Chu; her brother, Richard Chu; and a nephew, Andrew Burrous; and her niece's husband, Anthony Lucinese. She is survived by her brother, Robert Burrous; her niece, Sarah Lucinese; her sister, Barbara Martin, as well as many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Ave., Ocean Grove. Cremation will be held privately. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Reilly-Bonner Funeral Home, Belmar.
