William Kuzbyt, Sr

William "Bill" Kuzbyt Sr., 87, of the Lake Ridge Development section of Toms River passed away Thursday Oct 31st at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Passaic, Bill lived in Clifton for many years before moving to Toms River. Bill was the owner operator of the Napa Auto Stores in Clifton and Closter for many years. He was a member of Holy Ascension Church in Clifton and a member of St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral Carteret. He was a Clifton High School graduate. Bill served on the building committee for Holy Ascension Church and served on the church board. He also belonged to the Bocce League, Bowling League, Men's Club, Italian Club, and enjoyed playing pool.

He is predeceased by his daughter Sharon Kuzbyt, his parents Peter and Martha Kuzbyt, and his brothers Morris and Walter Kuzbyt. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty seven years Madeline (Lestishock) Kuzbyt, his children William Kuzbyt and his wife Stephanie, Diane Lomanto, seven grandchildren Victoria, William III, Jessica, Michelle, Stephanie, Sharlotte Samantha, three grandchildren Michael Joseph Jr., Brayden, and Lyla.

Funeral Liturgy will be held Tuesday 10:00am Liturgy at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral Carteret followed by interment at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visitation will be Monday 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at the Chubenko Funeral Home 625 Port Reading Ave., Port Reading. To send online condolences, please visit www.chubenkofh.com.
