Theresa Hague, 86, died peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Hampton Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Toms River. Daughter of the late George and Bertha Pongratz, Theresa was one of 15 children. She was born in Sugarloaf, PA and lived in South Bound Brook for most of her life before moving to Toms River 20 years ago. Theresa worked for Johnson & Johnson and later Ethicon totaling 38 years of service where she retired in 1982.
She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Hague in 1992; son, Charles Hague in 1980; and granddaughter, Dawn Hague in 2004. She is survived by her children, George Hague of South Bound Brook, Thomas Hague of South Bound Brook, Susan Tomasetto of Alpharetta, GA, and Theresa Rice of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Dolores Lytle of Winterpark, FL; 10 grandchildren, Kristin Conord, Tricia Alexander, Tommy Hague, Frankie Hague, Matthew Hague, Robert Rice, Kelly Rice, Katie Rice, Gabriel Tomasetto and Leah Tomasetto; and 3 great-grandchildren, Alexandra Conord, Ian Conord and Christian Conord.
Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St., Bridgewater. The funeral will begin with a prayer at the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 5, 2013 at 8 a.m. The funeral Mass will then follow at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church in South Bound Brook. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Justin the Martyr R.C. Church, 975 Fischer Blvd., Toms River, NJ 08753.
