Leonard Bernard Kuntz

AGE: 92 • North Brunswick

Leonard Bernard Kuntz, 92, of North Brunswick, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY he has been a resident of North Brunswick since 1967. He was a United States Navy World War II Veteran and a member and usher at Our Lady of Peace Church, North Brunswick. He retired in 1987 from the Roosevelt Paper Company, Philadelphia. He was a longtime Little League and Pop Warner coach and an avid New York Giants and New York Rangers fan.

Son of the late Alfred and Marguerite (Lynch) Kuntz, husband of the late Mary G. Kuntz, brother of the late Rose Mary Kuntz, he is survived by his children, James F. Kuntz, Rosemary C. Kuntz, Mary Jane and her husband Jay Wouters, Robert T. Kuntz, Kevin P and his wife Cheryl Kuntz, John F. and his wife Maureen Kuntz, Thomas P. Kuntz and his wife Diane Harrison, 9 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014, 10:00 am at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Our Lady of Peace Church 227 Washington Place North Brunswick. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Burial Park. Friends may call on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 7-9 at the funeral home.
